MDBA Northern Basin Workshops NSW

The Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) is holding community meetings across Northern NSW. Have your say about the MDBA and join the conversation.

Following a three-year review process, the MDBA will share the findings of their review and outline what they mean for your community and for the wider North. The current review looked at water recovery scenarios from three perspectives - social, economic and environmental. The MDBA has:

  • Looked at the effects of different water recovery scnarios on communities and industries.
  • Undertaken scientific work to get clearer information about hte water needs in the North.
  • Run models to better understand what the effects are when water is recovered from different parts of the North.
