RGA appoints new Executive Director

The Ricegrowers' Association of Australia (RGA) has today appointed Graeme Kruger as its Executive Director. Graeme has extensive experience across a broad range of endeavours including advocacy, management, business development and community engagement.

RGA President Jeremy Morton said "RGA is delighted to be able to announce that Graeme Kruger will be our new Executive Director. Throughout his career Graeme has consistently demonstrated a capacity for delivering outcomes, often in challenging circumstances. He is an excellent communicator who engages positively with all people."

"Graeme's appointment provides an opportunity for RGA to increase value for our members, continue our effective advocacy while building a platform for the longer term sustainability of the RGA." Mr Morton said.

Mr. Kruger said "I am excited about joining the RGA as Executive Director and look forward to working for the benefit of members as part of the unique and dynamic Australian rice industry. I look forward to meeting many of the members over the coming months including at the RGA Annual Conference at Deniliquin in August."

Mr. Morton also thanked departing Executive Director Andrew Bomm for his significant contribution to the RGA. "Andrew has achieved some great outcomes for members during his six years with the RGA in both the Executive Director and Policy Manager roles, we thank Andrew for that and wish him all the best in the future"
