Sunny side up on this World Egg Day

With the average Australian consuming just shy of 250 eggs a year, World Egg Day is a great opportunity to celebrate Australia’s favourite breakfast staple.

Australian Eggs is dedicated to delivering benefits to their members – the farmers. And this year they’re celebrating World Egg Day in style, by recognising the achievements of chefs in their nationwide search for Australia’s best egg dish.

The top four dishes were handpicked by Australian Eggs ambassador and celebrity chef, Manu Feildel. This years short list highlights the quality of eggs right across the country, with finalists located in Perth, Western Australia; Sydney, New South Wales and Launceston, Tasmania.
