George the Farmer explores mangoes in the Top End!

George the Farmer is back again with another fun-filled farming resource for children. This time, with the help of Simone and Ben, Farmer George has gone tropical, heading all the way to the Top End to explore just how the ‘King of all Fruits’ makes it’s way to the supermarket.

Join Farmer George, Simone and Ben on an exciting adventure to the Northern Territory, as they investigate the paddock to plate journey of delicious Darwin mangoes!

In this online episode, children are introduced to mango producer, farmer Steve, who takes viewers behind the scenes of his fruit picking and packing enterprise. Did you know? Steve’s mangoes are sent to major Aussie centres such as Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide to be sold!

Then, for George, Simone and Ben – it was back to the kitchen for some nutritious cooking. Using fresh Aussie mangoes, the trio concocted a sensational mango banana smoothie, perfect for little helpers to make at home!
